Description:
“Do you struggle with procrastination, time management, and getting a task started? Do you have issues staying focused, regulating your emotions and thoughts, and issues with short term memory? Are you looking for tools and tips from other Autistics on getting things done?”
These questions and many more will be discussed at our Executive Functioning Workshop on Saturday, February 22nd, at 11:00AM.
“Executive functions” refers to a set of skills that are necessary to organize and achieve our goals - this includes attentional control, cognitive inhibition, working memory and cognitive flexibility. Many autistic people have difficulties with executive function skills, and have issues with day-to-day tasks, organizing, planning, and getting things done.
This workshop will be an open discussion, as we want to emphasize the importance of everyone's voices in this conversation.
